Our patients may rest assured that they are under the 24-hour supervision of trained professionals, concerned with their safety and comfort. Under the discretion of your doctor or nurse, you may be given non-addictive medications to lessen withdrawal symptoms in addition to nutritional supplements and fluids.

Chronic pain is also an important issue at TLRMC. We help through the use of non-narcotic medications and other medical options proven to help break the cycle of pain.

The stabilization process is usually complete within a week, largely dependent on the condition of the individual. Once complete, further rehabilitation is strongly recommended to prevent relapse. Our staff can recommend resources and contacts to best meet your needs. Twin Lakes Regional specializes in medical stabilization services only.

Anyone may refer an individual to medical stabilization, but a physician's diagnosis of Substance Abuse Disorder is required upon admission. When you arrive, we will discuss financial resources and requirements. During an initial evaluation our medical professionals will provide a treatment plan that will address your unique needs.
