CRITICAL CARE MEDICINE

  

The JosephC.PetrocelliCenter for Critical Care Medicine (also referred to as the CCU) provides specialized care for patients requiring more intensive support and advanced monitoring. The highly trained staff uses the latest equipment to give critical patients care that was unheard of just a few short years ago.

 

A spacious and comfortable waiting area puts family members and other visitors at ease. Oversized recliners and flat-screen televisions in each patient room makes it easier for visitors to stay with their loved ones.

 

During a ceremony preceding the open house and ribbon cutting for the new unit in August of 2008, the name for the Critical Services Unit was announced as the JosephC.PetrocelliCenter for Critical Care Medicine. This honor will recognizes Dr. Petrocelli for his over 27 years of service at TwinLakesRegionalMedicalCenter.
