Big Clifty Medical Complex, Midway Pharmacy schedule open house and ribbon cutting for Saturday, August 2

Leitchfield , Ky. – Residents of Grayson, Hardin and Breckinridge counties are invited to the Grand Opening of the Big Clifty Medical Complex on Saturday, August 2nd. The activities will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Central time) with a Grayson County Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting at 12 noon.

The Big Clifty Medical Complex is located at 9847 Elizabethtown Road (Highway 62) in eastern Grayson County. The 9,000 square foot building features eight patient exam rooms, on-site lab and x-ray facilities and a branch location of Midway Pharmacy. The Big Clifty Medical Complex cost approximately $2 million to build.

In May, Kim Baker, M.D. was selected as physician for the Big Clifty Medical Complex. Dr. Baker studied at Spalding University, the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Mount Sinai Family Practice in Chicago and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Baker is Board Certified in Family Medicine and will see patients of all ages including newborn and pediatric patients. In addition to being served by Dr. Baker, several specialty physicians will see patients at the Big Clifty Medical Complex.

Having physicians serving patients in Big Clifty will save residents time and money by being able to stay close to home. “We are working hard to provide convenient healthcare services to all of Grayson County, western Hardin County and the other areas we serve,” states Steve Meredith, CEO of Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

Activities scheduled for the open house include tours of the facility, an opportunity to meet Dr. Baker, free lunch provided by the Grayson County Cattlemen’s Association and other activities.
