TLRMC employees show support for West Liberty hospital
On March 2, 2012, a tornado devastated the town of West Liberty, Kentucky. The ARH Foundation for Healthier Communities, the fundraising arm of the Appalachian Regional Healthcare system, has established a fund and donation drive to benefit Morgan County ARH employees affected by the tornado. Employees at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center are showing their support in this time of need.
A chili lunch and bake sale on Friday, March 16 done in the name of Jerry Mattingly, a long time employee who passed away suddenly two weeks earlier, raised over $1,100 for the fund.
Many TLRMC employees also signed a large poster which will be sent along with the donation. The poster is a way of Twin Lakes employees to show their solidarity with West Liberty hospital employees during their difficult recovery.
